Merced Velez

Merced Velez brings several years of experience in personal injury law, and finds one of the most rewarding parts of the work to be supporting clients during what can be a difficult and unfamiliar time in their lives.

She genuinely enjoys building relationships with clients, but takes the most pride in advocating for them and helping them navigate claims against insurance companies. The insurance process can be overwhelming - especially for elderly individuals, younger clients, and those who may not fully understand their rights or how the claims process works. Unfortunately, this can leave people vulnerable to accepting less than they deserve or being taken advantage of during an already stressful time. Helping clients understand their rights, stand up for their interests, and navigate the insurance process is a big part of why Merced is so passionate about personal injury law.

Outside of work, Merced is continuing her education and working toward becoming an attorney to further her career in the legal field. In her free time, she enjoys giving back to her community, running, weightlifting, spending time with family, and traveling to experience new places around the world.
